Window Cleaning FAQ
Answers to the most common questions about our service.
About the Service
What's Included in an Exterior Window Cleaning
Every exterior pane is cleaned by hand β scrubber to remove grime, squeegee for a streak-free finish. Window frames, sills, and screen frames are wiped down. Tracks are cleared of debris and buildup.
We bring our own RO/DI purified water to every job. That means no tap water minerals, no water spots, no residue when it dries.
Are Window Screens Included In Regular Service?
Screen frames are wiped down as part of every exterior clean, but screen cleaning is not currently included in the service. If you’d like screens cleaned, let us know β it may be available as an add-on in the future.
If a screen is damaged or needs repair, we can handle that at an additional cost depending on the screen size. Just mention it when you book or ask your technician on the day of service.
Can I Request Interior Window Cleaning?
Yes, interior cleaning is available as an add-on. Mention it when you request your quote so we can plan enough time for the visit.
What Are Accessible Windows?
Accessible windows are any pane we can safely reach with our equipment. Non-accessible windows β those blocked by large plants, permanent fixtures, or screens that can’t be removed from the outside β won’t be cleaned but will be noted in your service report. Skylights are not included.
How Do You Clean Windows
By hand, the traditional way. We use a ladder to reach every floor, a professional scrubber to loosen grime, and a squeegee for a streak-free finish. We bring our own RO/DI filtered water β purified to remove minerals so there’s nothing left behind when it dries.
This is the professional standard. It takes longer than pole-based shortcuts, and the results are better.
Do You Use Water-Fed Extension Poles?
No. We go up by ladder and clean every pane up close. Water-fed pole systems that attach to a spigot are a common shortcut in the industry β they clean from the ground without ladder access. We don’t use them. The close-up approach produces better results.
Scheduling
Can I Make A Service Appointment?
We route jobs geographically for efficiency, so residential service doesn’t work on fixed daily appointments. If you have a specific timing need β a guest check-in, a real estate showing, or a morning vs. afternoon preference β let us know and we’ll do our best to work around it. Service days are Monday through Friday, 8am to 6pm.
Do I Have To Sign A Contract?
No contracts. Recurring customers on the every-3-months or every-6-months plan stay on schedule until they opt out. We continue on your chosen frequency until you let us know to stop.
How Do I Prepare for My Appointment?
Unlock any gates that block window access. If you have pets, keep them inside or secured while we’re working. That’s it β we take care of the rest.
Pricing & Payment
How Is Pricing Determined?
Pricing is based on home size (square footage) and how often you want service. Single-story homes start at $85 for quarterly exterior cleaning. Two-story homes start at $140. Full pricing is on the Get a QuoteΒ page where you can get an instant quote for your address.
Commercial and vacation rental properties are quoted individually β use the inquiry form on the Contact UsΒ page.
How Do I Pay?
We send an invoice after the job is completed. The invoice includes a secure Pay button β you pay online when you receive it. Invoices are due upon receipt. We don’t store card information or charge anything without your action.
My Address Did Not Show Up In The Quote System
Some addresses aren’t in the database. Use the inquiry form on the Contact Us page and we’ll add your address and send a quote within 24 hours. Condos and apartments above certain floor levels require individual inquiry due to access variables.
How Long Before I Get A Quote Back?
All inquiry responses β business quotes, missing addresses, and commercial properties β are answered within 24 hours, Monday through Friday.
Florida & Weather
What Happens If It Rains on My Service Day?
Light rain doesn’t affect the result when we use RO/DI purified water β there are no minerals in our water to leave spots. Heavy rain or lightning will cause us to reschedule. We’ll contact you to arrange a new date at no charge.
How Often Should I Clean My Windows in Florida?
Every 3 months is what we recommend for most Central Florida homes. Florida’s combination of pollen season, afternoon storms, hard water irrigation overspray, humidity, and algae growth means windows get dirty faster here than in most of the country. Quarterly cleaning keeps ahead of the buildup. Vacation rentals and high-traffic commercial properties often clean monthly or bi-monthly, or even weekly or bi-weekly respectively.
What Causes the White Spots or Haze on My Windows?
Usually one of two things: hard water deposits from irrigation systems spraying the glass, or oxidation on the window frame paint that transfers to the glass as a white chalky residue. Both are common in Florida and both can be addressed β but they’re different problems with different solutions.

Commercial & Vacation Rental
I Own A Business. Can You Help?
Yes. Commercial properties vary too much for an instant online quote β storefront size, floor count, access, and cleaning frequency all factor in. Use the inquiry form on the Contact UsΒ page and we’ll respond with a custom quote and a recommended schedule.
Do You Work With Vacation Rental / Airbnb Properties?
Yes. We work with individual STR owners and property management companies throughout Central Florida. Scheduling can be built around guest turnover windows, and we understand the cleanliness standards that affect Airbnb ratings. See our Vacation Rental Window CleaningΒ page for more.
